#TogetherWeBuild

It is a great honor to be working side by side with so many from our faith community for our 2021/2022 Interfaith build! We haven’t broken ground yet but will be within the next few months and then it will be 26 weeks of building, building, building. We are lucky to have a bit of breathing room prior to breaking ground on Yvette and Jose’s home to get materials organized and fundraising scheduled. FYI, it is our goal to have the majority of funding raised or committed to prior to breaking ground on any new Manatee Habitat home build.

This home will be unique as there are special needs accommodations to take into consideration during the building process. Our amazing Director of Development, Bruce Winter has it all under control and is looking forward to creating an environment that will facilitate a better and safer forever home for Yvette and Jose!

We have already had a zoom morning coffee so we could all reconnect and also get to know new participants. It was truly heartwarming to hear how meaningful it was for last year’s participants to share what helping build a Manatee Habitat home meant to their members. We will be keeping everyone updated on our web site and have created a special Faith Build Web Page where you can already find testimonials from our last two faith build homeowners, the Harris and Kendall families.

If your favorite faith group would like to join Palma Sola Presbyterian, Harvest United Methodist, New Hope Baptist, Peace Presbyterian, Temple Beth ‘EL, St. Joseph Catholic Church, Trinity Lutheran, St. Mary’s Episcopal Church and St. Armand’s Key Lutheran Church and others, there is always room for more!
