April was all about teaming up and giving back, and wow, did our corporate partners come through during National Volunteer Month!
Thank you to all of the organizations that joined us at Poling Gardens to make tangible contributions to our community. April, designated to amplify the impact of volunteerism, was made memorable by our partners who rolled up their sleeves and generously gave their time and resources to our mission. Here are the highlights from a Month of Meaningful Engagement:
Manatee County Government

As a foundational supporter of our mission, the local government continued its tradition of community service by participating in a build day to start the month. Their ongoing involvement exemplifies how public and private cooperations alike can enhance the effectiveness of community initiatives.
Bank OZK

A stalwart supporter of our mission, Bank OZK not only provides substantial donations but also offers us discounted office space and provides financial literacy classes to our homeowners. This month they added to their multitudes of support by bringing a spirited group of their employees out to spend the morning getting down to business with hammers and nails, demonstrating their commitment to making a direct impact!
Peirce Manufacturing

For three consecutive days, teams from Pierce Manufacturing brought their expertise from building firetrucks to painting homes at Poling Gardens. Their enthusiasm and skilled volunteerism were a delightful addition to our job site!
Publix Super Markets Charities

The team from the White Eagle Publix store didn’t just fund a home—they built it with us! They put in the sweat equity to back up their generous donation, helping not just one, but several homes in the area. We can’t thank you enough!
Sunshine Metal Roofing Supply

This team not only donates materials crucial for building our roofs but they also share their specialized skills. Completing an entire roof in just one morning, they exemplified how skilled labor can accelerate community development and create a lasting impact.
Lakewood Ranch GCC
Women’s Golf Association

The incredible women golfers from the academy were back at it, swinging not clubs but tools! Their passion for affordable housing is just as strong as their golf game, and we love having them on our team.
These collaborations during National Volunteer Month helped push our Poling Gardens housing project forward while reinforcing the essential role of corporate social responsibility (CRS) in building a better Manatee County. We’re grateful to these corporate partners for setting a standard for how businesses can positively impact their communities. We look forward to fostering these relationships to continue making a difference together.
