We are excited to share that Kaveecia Moore now serves as our new Director of Homeowner Services! Kaveecia is a third-generation Sarasota native and with more than 10 years of experience in the nonprofit and education sectors, we couldn’t be more thrilled to have her on board the Manatee Habitat team.

Her work with Opportunities For All at the Greater Sarasota Chamber led her to accept her role at Manatee Habitat, where she works with prospective

homeowners and existing homeowners who want to find a path toward financial stability. Her passion for philanthropy is driven by her belief that it is not enough to only have a presence in the communities she serves, but to actively engage and be a part of them to impact change.

Kaveecia serves on the board of directors for Sarasota African American Cultural Coalition (SAACC), and Dreamers Academy, and also serves on the community advisory board for the Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe. She holds a B.S. from the University of Florida and an MBA from Barry University and is a graduate of the 2021 Gulf Coast Board Institute. She is the proud mother of her son, Cayson and her teddy bear puppy, Prince.

In this new role, she is enthusiastic about demystifying the homebuying process for our prospective homeowners. “I’m most excited about walking them through the process hand and hand and partnering with them throughout the journey as they realize the ‘American Dream’ of homeownership.”
