April 7th saw former board members, long time volunteers and community dignitaries joining together to wish Diana Shoemaker, CEO/President of Manatee Habitat, success on her next career adventure.

The Honorable Gilbert Smith, Jr., of the 12th Judicial Circuit and his colleagues from Bradenton Kiwanis, The Honorable Will Robinson. Florida House of Representatives, Manatee County Commissioner Misty Servia, Susie Bowie, Executive Director of Manatee Community Foundation, Jacki Dezelski President/CEO Manatee Chamber, Manatee Habitat Board Members, Lauren Fuller, Michelle Grimsley, Todd Powers, Stacie Mason and Manatee Habitat’s Founding Board President Susie Walters.

Angel Oak Café & Event Center, 2004 6th Ave. W. in Bradenton, was the venue and since the owner, Mirinda, has been a long time supporter of Manatee Habitat, it was lucky that Angel Oak Café was the perfect location.

Emily Lane, Development Director took a moment to share with the attendees that Manatee Habitat is again participating in the #GivingChallenge2022. The Giving Challenge is put on by @TheCommunityFoundationofSarasotaCounty and all donations between $25 and $100 are matched by #ThePattersonFoundation From noon on April 26 to noon on April 27th.
