We’re thrilled to share that we’ve reached a major milestone as part of our 30th Anniversary campaign. When we launched the campaign in August 2024, we set an ambitious goal: build 30 homes in 30 months. Although the campaign doesn’t officially conclude until February 2027, we’re thrilled to share that we reached that milestone eight months ahead of schedule.
Our 30th home was especially meaningful. In June 2026, we welcomed Barry, a lifelong Manatee County resident, back home after his house sustained extensive storm damage. Thanks to the incredible support of our community, we were able to purchase the property, rebuild the home from the ground up while preserving its original exterior walls, and hand Barry the keys to a safe, secure home once again.
The momentum didn’t stop there.
We also reached our $3 million fundraising goal for the 30th Anniversary campaign in May 2026—months ahead of schedule. Every donation, volunteer hour, sponsorship, and community partnership made this achievement possible, and we couldn’t have done it without you.
While we’re celebrating these milestones, we’re already looking ahead. Our next goal is to sell 26 homes during the 2026 calendar year, continuing our commitment to addressing the affordable housing crisis and helping even more hardworking local families achieve the stability and security of homeownership.
