Last month, we opened applications for future homeownership opportunities. Applications were available from May 12 through May 18. While that window has now closed, our commitment to supporting families on their path to homeownership continues.
We recognize that some applicants may not yet qualify financially, and many future applicants may be working toward meeting eligibility requirements. To qualify for a Habitat home, applicants must meet several criteria, including falling within 50% – 80% of Area Median Income (AMI) and demonstrating financial preparedness for an affordable mortgage. If you’re not there yet, you’re not alone, and you’re not without support.
