We are thrilled to share some exciting news—First Watch has been named the Title Sponsor of Manatee County Habitat for Humanity’s 2026 Raise the Roof Gala! Their generous $10,000 sponsorship marks a major milestone for us as we launch this newly reimagined signature fundraising event, all in support of affordable homeownership right here in Manatee County.
Our partnership with First Watch began in 2025 when they joined us as a table sponsor for our former Hard Hats & High Heels Gala—and it has continued to grow ever since. In addition to serving as Title Sponsor of the 2026 Raise the Roof Gala, First Watch will provide coffee for a dedicated coffee bar during the event and bring volunteer teams to support construction efforts at our King’s Cross Place development.
The nautical theme of the Raise the Roof Gala is a perfect fit for First Watch. In maritime tradition, “first watch” refers to the very first shift of the day—often considered the best shift—symbolizing fresh starts, dedication, and optimism. These values align beautifully with our work and the new beginnings we help create for local families.

The Raise the Roof Gala will take place on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature. This special night will bring our supporters together for a nautical-themed evening filled with elegance, inspiration, and impact—where every dollar raised directly supports our mission to bring people together to build homes, communities, and hope.
Guests will enjoy a three-course gourmet dinner and open bar, live music and a DJ for dancing, a fundraising auction featuring exciting packages, a nautical-themed photo booth, and powerful stories from Habitat homeowners whose lives have been transformed through affordable homeownership. Formal attire is encouraged, with navy, white, and gold tones to complement the evening’s theme.
Tickets to the Raise the Roof Gala are $150 per person, with table sponsorships available. The Deadline to purchase tickets is Friday, February 27, 2026, at 12 PM.
