Bruce Winter, our Director of Construction has set aside four weeks in August for Volunteer training. This is an opportunity to learn new skills for our ongoing volunteers and a fantastic opportunity for new volunteers to get started with us.
Tuesdays and Thursdays training will be held at the Depot: 1005 3rd Ave. W. Palmetto. Our volunteers arrive at the build sites by 7:30am and are done by 12:30 to beat the afternoon heat! Just think; you can volunteer and still be home in time to play a round of golf if you want! If you would like more information or want to get scheduled to participate, email Barb. Each day Bruce will be going over one area of interior construction. Installation of interior doors, baseboards, kitchen cabinets, and interior molding are all scheduled.
