Manatee Habitat has the most amazing team! Each person brings a special talent and years of experience to the Manatee Habitat table!
Lets start with our President/CEO who has spent many hours of her very limited spare time in local little theatre. Our Director of Finance was born in New Orleans and now that he is living in Bradenton, has chosen the full-time sailboat life. Sheryl Boddy, our fantastic Director of Programs once lived in South Africa. KC Quaretti, our Director of Marketing was a contestant on season 2 of Master Chef and our Director of Construction spent time living and working in the Antarctic. Also in the construction department, James McCann, our Construction Acquisition Manager is famous for doting on his grandchildren and his cats. Steve Reinfeldt, our Rehab Project Manager has over 25 years with Habitats and was a founding member of an affiliate in Wisconsin. Barb Slater, our Construction Volunteer Coordinator keeps track of over 600 hundred volunteers and knows everyone by name! Our Director of Retail Operations enjoys spending her off time golfing and even got a hole in one during a city tournament! Our Acquisition Manager, Jennie Snow, has called eight different states home. Their team mate Luis Valera, who is the Restore General Manager played professional baseball before coming to Manatee Habitat and his son is following in his footsteps. Our Accounting wiz Angel Moldauer, is an absolute whiz at keeping track of everyone’s donations and it feels like she has been here always! Last but certainly not least is our newest team member, Emily Chalker Lane, our Director of Development, who is a self-professed “certified knowledge junkie”.
