Meet Manatee Habitat’s Newest Construction Manager—David Diffendal

A volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, The Fuller Center for Housing, and the Rotary Club for nearly his entire life, David is excited and proud to be part of the Manatee Habitat team. In his previous life, he was an entrepreneur, and most recently, he worked in the hotel business in Central America. He has extensive construction and real estate experience in both the residential and commercial worlds. He currently lives here in Bradenton with the love of his life, Laura, and their four-pound chihuahua, Sticks.
In his new role, David is eager to take on Poling Gardens! Inspired by Millard Fuller, co-founder of Habitat for Humanity, David has seen firsthand how powerful affordable homeownership is in transforming lives. “Harnessing our volunteers to make the dream of homeownership a reality, I feel, is God’s work,” said David.
