We’re thrilled to welcome Dean Rowe to Manatee Habitat as our new Senior Construction Assistant, where he combines his skills and passion to help build homes, communities, and hope. Originally from Annapolis, Maryland, Dean traveled across the country to attend UCLA, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in 2017. That same year, he premiered a short film at the Cannes International Film Festival, an early milestone in a career that began in Hollywood production and grew into a role as a Production Coordinator on independent films. He later transitioned into large-scale live event production, contributing to major festivals like Coachella and Firefly, where he also earned his OSHA certification and supported safe, efficient operations.
In 2023, Dean relocated to Florida in search of a more meaningful, community-centered path and joined Habitat for Humanity of Hillsborough County as an apprentice. There, he discovered that his production management experience translated seamlessly into construction. After moving to Sarasota in 2025, he continued his work within the Habitat network and is now proud to serve with Manatee Habitat, combining his skills and passion to help build homes, communities, and hope.
