At Manatee County Habitat for Humanity, we believe that stable, affordable housing changes lives, and thanks to the generosity of Publix Super Markets Charities, even more families in our community are one step closer to a place to call home.

We are incredibly grateful to announce a $150,000 donation from Publix Super Markets Charities, a long-standing partner that has supported our work since 2005. For the third year in a row, Publix Super Markets Charities has made a gift at this transformative level, helping us continue our mission of bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope.

This generous gift will fund the majority of one Habitat home in King’s Cross Place, our newest neighborhood development. When complete, King’s Cross Place will provide safe, stable, and affordable housing for local families, strengthening not only individual households but the entire community around them.

“Publix Super Markets Charities has been one of our most generous and consistent corporate supporters for nearly two decades,” said Bernie Quinn, CEO of Manatee County Habitat for Humanity. “Their commitment to children and families aligns perfectly with our mission and the work we do every day.”

What makes this partnership especially meaningful is that Publix Super Markets Charities’ support extends far beyond financial contributions. Over the years, Publix associates have volunteered alongside us on our build sites and supported our work through in-kind donations, including gift cards used to provide Publix products for community events and fundraising celebrations.

This well-rounded approach to giving reflects Publix Super Markets Charities’ deep commitment to strengthening families, neighborhoods, and the places they call home.

Since 2005, Publix Super Markets Charities has played a vital role in helping us serve hardworking families who are striving for stability and opportunity through homeownership. Their continued investment allows us to build more than houses, it allows us to build brighter futures.
