Stan, a dedicated veteran who served our country for 11 years, continues his service as an active reservist while working full-time as a civilian medical assistant. His wife, Lauren, lovingly cares for their three children, including their daughter Cali, who has special needs and requires Lauren to be her on-call caregiver. Over the years, they’ve faced a range of housing challenges, from losing their first family home to living with their parents to now renting at a high cost, preventing them from saving to buy a home without Habitat.
However, thanks to a referral from our partners, Our Next Mission, they have been accepted into our program and can now be excited at the prospect of homeownership. Stan and Lauren can’t wait to provide a stable environment for their family, including their beloved pets, and embrace the American Dream they’ve worked so hard for.
