Our physical year ended June 30th 2021. With COVID lurking throughout the past 12 months we still managed to keep on track and make an amazing impact in Manatee County! Manatee Habitat homeowners paid $90,619.oo in property tax and the Restore’s sales tax to the county was $135,569.40! That a grand total of $226,188.42 that Manatee County collected as a direct result of our ongoing efforts!
Bruce Winter, Director of Construction, and his crew kept the building process moving forward with volunteers working within a safe bubble. NOT one case of COVID managed to sneak into our volunteer bubble! Congratulations to everyone for following all the protocols Bruce set up and staying healthy!
29 new families were impacted either with homeownership or through our Critical Home Repair Program. There are over 90 families who have graduated the home buyer program and have purchased their homes with a 0% interest loan from Manatee Habitat. Every year we happily say CONGRATULATIONS to homeowners who have made their final mortgage payment!
